Details

The FrSky SBUS & CPPM Decoder can be used to decode SBUS or CPPM signals and converts them to PWM signals for use with conventional analog and digital servos.

SBUS Decoder

Compatible with receivers that feature the SBUS port. Some examples are the FrSky TFRSB 9TFR4SB, TFR8SB) and X series (X8R, X6R) receivers and the Futaba S.BUS receivers (R6208SB, and others) as well as tools like the FrSky SBUS Servo Channel Changer and the Futaba SBC-1.

Specs:

Channel Output Cable Lengths: 210mm
Total length: 350mm
Operating Temperature Range: -10-80℃
Operating Voltage Range: 4-10V
Compatibility for SBUS Connection Port: FrSky SBUS Servo Channel Changer, FrSky TFR8SB receiver, Futaba SBC-1 or Futaba S.BUS receivers (R6208SB, etc.)
Compatibility for PWM Connection Ports: digital servos

NOTE: Will pass the Sbus framerate to the servo (PWM) output. Typically this will be about a 9ms frame rate, these faster frame rates will work best with digital servos, though some analog servos appear to be OK.

Very handy product. Review by Hans
Quality
I put this in wings that have more channels. One wire to hook up for 4 channels in a wing. I use 2 of them in a spitfire wing. I use 2 channels for the ailerons, 2 channels for the flaps, and 2 channels for the gear. This way the gear can be extended one a little later than the other like the full scale spitfire. The ailerons and each flap can be fine tuned separately. I did run an extra wire to make sure that the current of 6 separate servo's was not too much for the thin wire on the FrSky SBUS & CPPM Decoder. It would be nice to have a heavy wire on this unit, that is my only suggestion. (Posted on 9/23/14)

So, I will need a frsky channel changer to set my channels with this decoder?

Yes, or a similar channel changer from Futaba, etc.
