Details

The DJT telemetry transmitter module is a great choice if your transmiter is compatable with the JR modules.

The Telemetry Radio System developed by FrSky provides an additional return link that is used for monitoring the Rx’s voltage, poor receiver reception, temperature, location, speed and so on.

The module is compatible with both the V8-series (non-telemetry) and the D-Series (telemetry) receivers.

Works great Review by Sam

Installed this on my jr9303 and it works perfectly! Simple to use easy to bind and incredible range. It's the system that made me make the leap to 2.4 from 72mhz. Now I have the added benefit being worry free of any frequency conflicts at flying events. (Posted on 7/21/14)
Excellent Customer Service Review by walkman146
Quality
I have not tried out the product yet, but I have to comment on the great customer service I have received so far. I talked extensively with Wayne about this system before purchasing, and he had great advice on exactly what I would need. He did not try to upsell me on a more expensive products, just what I needed. I picked up a DJT module, FLD-02 monitor, and the D8R-XP and D6FR receivers. I ordered on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and they were delivered on Friday! Now, that is fast! Thanks Wayne. (Posted on 12/2/13)
FrSky DJT - JR Transmitter Telemetry Module: the most practical setup Review by Anibal
Quality
I Installed this module in a Turnigy 9X radio as platform for telemetry system without internal modifications. Just some grinding around the module plug pins as some reviewers suggested. The system was complimented with; FLD-02 LCD DISPLAY with mounting bracket and Voltage sensor. With just that, I have a Telemetry system that provides radio Signal strength both ways, Power Battery Voltage, Receiver voltage, Two alarm levels for each parameter and Failsafe. Tested with receivers D6FR-6 and D8RXP-8. The range and capabilities of this setup is excellent and provides me a lot confidence during flying.

Also my pocket is very happy. For the next comparable system with different brand names the prices are more than 5 times.!

Buy here with confidence...shipping, prices and technical support are the best you can get for FrSky products in the US and External Market. (Posted on 11/11/13)

Works Great With My Early JR XP8103 Review by llb75
Quality
My TRex 450 was having swash plate glitches using my early JR XP8103. Since the cost was so low I decided to give the DJT, and one of the D8R-II plus receivers a try. Swash plate now operates smooth and even. Got rid of all my glitching problems. Well worth the money. (Posted on 3/14/13)

NiCE! Review by John
Quality
Did some research before I ordered and the product itself is an excellent! Looks and feels high quality, and it fits my Flysky 9x radio without any issues. Binding was really an easy thing to do. The support I received from ALOFT hobbies was top notch! No other online R/C companies have ever offered me type of support I received from Aloft Hobbies. Wayne, I suppose he is the owner, has been answered all my emails, calls and text when I needed help. I will defiantly recommend Aloft hobbies to anyone! I just wish Aloft hobbies will carry more goodies such as Lipo batteries, bec’s and brushless motors. I shall return soon for more. (Posted on 3/9/12)
Payed for itself in the first week. Review by Av8tor
Quality
I just wanted to share that this radio payed itself off after I landed off field. We looked all over the area we thought it had landed, but could not find it after 45 minutes. Then I remembered that the telemetry could help pinpoint a lost plane. Using the transmitter in low power mode we were able to locate the plane in the middle of a large bush 50 feet from where we had been looking. Now everyone at the field is upgrading their radios.

Thank Aloft!! (Posted on 1/11/12)

Product FAQs

Does this module require also purchasing an LCD display to provide the alarm for low voltage, poor reception, etc?

It is not required to have the LCD display to set alarms, but it does make things easier, and is very handy to actually see what the voltage level and signal strength are.

The modules come from the factory with the RSSI (signal strength) alarms set at very reasonable levels. I have seen no need to adjust them. The factory settings do not set any alarms for the voltage as there are so many possible combinations.

If you do not have an LCD display, then the alarms can be set via a USB cable connected to a computer.

Still learning this new 2.4 systems.Only FRSky receiver modules are compatible with this transmitter module, correct?

Yes, once you are converted to FrSky you need to use FrSky receivers. This is actually a good thing as the FrSky is very reasonably priced, and you can usually sell off your old radio gear for more money than brand new FrSky gear will cost. Many people are able to expand their receiver count when converting. The FrSky system is truly one of the best available. The Futaba FASST, Sanwa (Airtronics) and Hitec are also very good 2.4 systems, but their pricing is horrible. None of them can match the performance, features and pricing of the FrSky system. Hope this helps.

So, I will need a frsky channel changer to set my channels with this decoder?

Yes, or a similar channel changer from Futaba, etc.
