This is a model of Red Jensens full size, Formula 1 race plane the Impulse. Red is the designer of the Impulse; a self admitted air race junkie and works for NASA. Cool dude in my book!

On to the model.
This design is a one-off, once their gone; their gone. Designed as a slope aircraft the Impulse has a robust airframe. The wings are composite, stiff spanwise and have excellent resistance to torsional loads. The full span ailerons will provide generous control authority whether used as ailerons, flaps or spoilerons. The wing is two piece connecting to the sides of the fuselage near the belly. A round, 12mm dia. solid fiberglass wing joiner does the heavy lifting.
The fuselage is a fiberglass layup with light ply bulkheads placed strategically along the length. The fuselage is VERY spacious; if a builder wanted to power this aircraft they would have no issues fitting a motor or engine into this airframe.
Now the business end of things. The Impulse is a basic kit and is meant for builders that have prior experience finishing out a model of this type. The hard work is done, but still a number of things to be completed and the all important painting is the big one. Quantity is very limited and the price is very good, Anton probably sold these at a loss as he invested a lot of time and love into the project. These are special!
